Steve Saint: The Jungle Missionary (DVD)
Many have heard the story of the five missionaries whom natives killed, in 1956, in the jungle of South America. This documentary tells the story of what the wives and children did after the untimely deaths. Steve Saint, the son of martyred missionary Nate Saint, narrates the story about his family’s work and legacy.

“Steve Saint: The Jungle MIssionary” is a very inspiring tale of the Saint family learned to love the Waorani people and teach them about God’s love. Steve also talks about how he grew up with the tribal people, how they taught him to survive, and the difficulty of trying to translate the Gospel into their language. He also talks about what he and others in missionary work have taught the Waorani people in return, including what’s it’s like to travel to America, shop at a grocery store, attend a football game, stand in an elevator, look in a mirror, or ride in a car.
This film shows how God has a plan for each of us, no matter what the outcome. Even though His plan may not be what we would like, it will be what He wants for us as loving and obedient followers. We award this insightful and encouraging documentary the Dove Faith Friendly Seal for all ages.
